Description

The 2020 Côte de Nuits-Villages Meix Fringuet comes from a vineyard in Brochon that was inherited from the maternal side of Jean-Louis Trapet’s family. The bouquet is forward and ripe, offering raspberry, cranberry and briary scents; touches of rose petal emerge with time.

The palate is medium-bodied with lithe tannins, the 30% stem addition imparting a subtle pepperiness toward the finish and more freshness than it otherwise might have had.
