Description

Honey, mango and pineapple notes on the nose. A bit above medium bodied with all tropical notes upfront coupled with a lot of depth. Lots of honey notes intermixed, especially through the middle which has superb density and depth. Mid-body also brings in of white orchard fruit notes (apple, white peach) that provide balance to the most overly sweet topical honey upfront combination.

Combine this with some tart citrus notes towards the back and very good acidity and what you end up with a dessert wine certainly, but one showing a lot of complexity and one not defined solely by the richer, sweeter notes. With the acidity at this level, the wine can continue to age for many years.
